Sales Manager to lead, inspire and grow our employed retail sales team within the home improvements sector. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a direct sales environment, understands performance management, and leads from the front.

You will be responsible for driving revenue, developing people, and delivering sustainable business growth.

• Lead, manage and motivate an employed direct retail sales team
• Drive performance against monthly and annual revenue targets
• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to increase conversions and order values
• Recruit, onboard, train and develop sales representatives
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching
• Support the team in the field, including assisted appointments
• Ensure high standards of customer experience and professionalism
• Work closely with senior leadership to deliver growth objectives
• Proven experience in direct retail sales
• Strong track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
• Ability to motivate and manage performance
• Highly organised, results-focused mindset
• Willingness to lead from the front and work in the field

• Experience managing an employed sales team
• Background in home improvements, double glazing or similar sectors

• Basic salary up to £55,000 (depending on experience)
• Uncapped performance bonus — OTE £96,000
• Company car or car allowance
• Weekly business expense reimbursement

• 20 days’ paid holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays
