As the Project Director, you will be responsible for delivering on the project/program portfolio for Enterprise Risk Management while other initiatives may be added as required to meet business objectives, ensuring alignment with CIBC’s business strategy and regulatory requirements.

This role is accountable for leading and delivering successful projects and programs by applying established project management best practices, governance, and standardized delivery processes. The position champions a high-performance culture, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and ensures all initiatives support CIBC’s and Enterprise Risk Management business priorities and regulatory requirements.

As an individual contributor and leader, you will demonstrate a proven track record of results through strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build consensus and manage conflicting viewpoints through effective negotiation and influencing. Experience with both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies is essential, as you will be expected to lead projects in a fast-paced environment.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. • Project Management :
  The candidate will provide leadership throughout all phases of project and program delivery, ensure strategic alignment and optimal resource utilization. They will monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to established governance frameworks for successful outcomes.
