THE ROLEAs the Policy Manager, you will report to the National Manager, Employment and Labour Relations. You will manage projects and activities related to the development, writing, maintenance and delivery of policies, practices and procedures, including researching, drafting, developing, updating and evaluating them. You will also monitor trends, legislation, regulations and events related to policy development or revision.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Communications, Public Policy or a related discipline AND several years of experience in policy writing, or a related field.

- Developing, evaluating, interpreting and revising policies and procedures
- Interpreting relevant legislation and regulations
- Project management
- Writing and editing
- Providing advice and guidance
- Research and analyzing sources of information

Language Requirements
- English Essential or French Essential. Bilingual (English and French) an asset

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
