WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORWe’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented, hands‑on Senior Project Management leader who will own and drive DECIEM’s product development roadmap from R&D through to launch. You’ll bring structure, clarity, and momentum across complex, cross‑functional projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. This role is all about turning strategy into execution, proactively managing risk, and elevating how we deliver products you thrive in fast‑paced environments and love bringing teams together to make great ideas real, we’d love to meet you 💛
This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office.
PAY RANGEThe anticipated base salary for this position is $100k to $110K
Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE- Own and manage projects across DECIEM’s full product development lifecycle, from R&D through to product launch.
- Lead and coordinate multiple complex projects at the same time, ensuring clear timelines, scope, budget, and delivery.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Scientific, Production, Supply Chain, Brand, Commercial, Finance, L&D, etc.) to plan and execute product roadmaps.
- Act as the main point of contact for project-related questions, updates, risks, and changes, escalating where needed.
- Proactively assess risks, lead mitigation discussions, and manage high-risk scenarios with stakeholders and leadership.
- Communicate project status, progress, and deviations clearly and consistently, including accurate updates in project tools (e.g. Wrike).
- Ensure all teams understand their responsibilities, deliverables, and deadlines, keeping projects aligned and on track.
- Support, guide, and upskill project managers and coordinators, ensuring a strong understanding of processes and ways of working.
- Design, build, and improve project processes, flows, and frameworks, including creating new ones from scratch when required.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing outcomes, documenting lessons learned, and strengthening project delivery standards.
- Degree or diploma in Project Management, Business, Science, Cosmetics, IT, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is a strong asset.
- 8+ years of hands‑on project delivery experience, including product development and launch, with 4+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience managing complex projects in cosmetics or consumer packaged goods is highly valued.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to drive change, make sound decisions, and lead discussions with senior leadership.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, with strong technical proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft/Google suites.
