Business Development Manager - Remote

About the Role:

As a CBRE Business Development Manager, you will be part of a team that drives local and regional client relationships and business development activities. This job is part of the Sales function. They are responsible for the design of sales solutions that are presented and sold to potential, new, and existing clients.

What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee the internal proposal process.
  • Generate proposals and finalize general contractors purchase orders.
  • Solicitate proposals from sub‑contractors.
  • Organize general contractors meetings in the respective region. Ensure relevant information is shared and proper business development processes are conducted.
  • Take part in project management execution handover process.
  • Track and complete KPI goals outlined for the client.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3‑5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience with BMS, HVAC systems, or engineering operations,
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
