The Role
OCS is seeking a Security System Servicing Team Leader to join our ever growing Security Systems team. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on leading and overseeing the day‑to‑day delivery of reactive maintenance and installation activities, ensuring the team manages the full task lifecycle from initial logging through to completion, with consistently high service standards.
The selected candidate must work collaboratively with team members in a professional and tactful manner, thereby positively representing the Company. This role is a fully remote working.
Days of working:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
- Lead and oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of reactive maintenance and installation activities - ensuring the team manages the full task lifecycle from initial logging through to completion, with consistently high service standards.
- Prioritise and allocate workloads across the servicing team - making real‑time decisions based on urgency, operational impact, and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor team performance and task progress - ensuring accurate records, timely updates within all relevant systems, and adherence to internal processes.
- Provide leadership for the management and completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) - ensuring the team follows scheduled maintenance plans and meets deadlines.
- Act as the key point of escalation for service provider or contractor issues - ensuring quality of work, challenging underperformance, and resolving disputes or service concerns promptly.
- Oversee document control and maintenance database accuracy - ensuring team compliance, data integrity, and readiness for audits or reporting requirements.
- Supervise the team’s use of procurement systems - ensuring purchase orders, approval workflows, and end‑to‑end transactions are managed efficiently and correctly.
- Work closely with finance teams to resolve complex invoice discrepancies - providing guidance to the team and ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Coach, develop, and motivate team members - conducting regular 1:1s, supporting training needs, and ensuring strong performance and continuous improvement.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools
- Experience with procurement and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa, or similar)
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
