Your Impact

As a Project Manager at Verogy, you will oversee the full lifecycle of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Utility-Scale solar projects, ensuring seamless execution from early development through construction and final commissioning. You will serve as the central point of coordination, working across internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your ability to manage timelines, anticipate risks, and maintain clear communication will be instrumental in driving Verogy's mission to expand clean energy infrastructure while upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

This is a hybrid role based in West Hartford, CT, offering a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration. Candidates should expect to work in-office at least two days a week to engage with team members, attend meetings, and support collaborative projects. The on-site commitment for the first 3-6 months in the role may be higher due to job-specific training.

Your Role:

• Lead and oversee solar projects from early-stage development through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and risk assessments to ensure successful execution and financial performance.

• Coordinate with internal teams, including Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction, to align project goals and deliverables.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, permitting agencies, utilities, and clients.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as interconnection and permitting requirements.

• Monitor project performance metrics and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to keep projects on track.

• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, ensuring clear communication and accountability for key milestones.

• Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, and procurement agreements, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.

• Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation for leadership and stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall execution.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the solar, renewable energy, or construction industries.

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Proven track record of managing C&I and/or Utility-Scale solar projects from development through execution.

• Strong understanding of project financing, permitting, interconnection, procurement, and construction processes.

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) and familiarity with construction management platforms (e.g., Procore).

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively coordinate across diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting costs, and negotiating contracts.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements for solar project development and execution.
