Job Description
As a Senior Director, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our data infrastructure. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving the strategic vision for our data center projects, ensuring they align with our long‑term organizational goals. You will lead a dynamic team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Travel will be required and could be 50% or more k from home/remote.
Strategically, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive plans that optimize efficiency, cost‑effectiveness, and operational excellence in delivery. You will engage with key stakeholders, manage high‑stakes vendor relationships, and navigate the complexities of regulatory compliance. Your ability to anticipate and mitigate risks will be crucial in maintaining project timelines and budgets. By staying ahead of industry trends and incorporating cutting‑edge technologies, you will ensure our data centers are not only state‑of‑the‑art but also future proof.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement long‑term standards and strategies for data center colocation construction projects delivery certainty to align with organizational goals.
Lead and mentor a team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance work environment.
Lead and manage the construction oversight efforts of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with colocation providers to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Work closely throughout design, construction, and commissioning to fully coordinate and integrate the separate scope of tenant fit out projects with the DCIB teams leading these efforts.
Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with design teams to ensure that construction activities align with the approved design plans and specifications.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers, facilitating clear and effective communication.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance data center performance and sustainability.
