💡 The position is open to all applicants that meet the minimum qualifications below. This is a grant-funded position.

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its full-time Project Manager, Advanced and Emerging Technologies position in the Office of Technical Education. The Program Manager will manage multiple federally funded and industry-supported initiatives, including the EWD Grant, NNME Grant, Critical Minerals Grant and any other grant that this division participates in. This role requires a professional with proven experience in grant administration and project management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build relationships with industry partners, colleges, and stakeholders.

The Program Manager will also organize and lead career awareness events to promote workforce development in advanced and emerging technologies. This position is located at the TCSG System Office, 1800 Century Place, Atlanta, Georgia 30345.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administer multiple grants, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Develop timelines, track deliverables, and prepare high-quality progress reports.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure alignment with grant objectives.
  • Program Coordination
    • Collaborate with colleges, industry partners, and internal teams to implement grant-funded initiatives.
    • Coordinate curriculum development efforts with instructors and subject matter experts.
    • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and maintain clear communication across all partners.
  • Relationship Building
    • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with employers, industry associations, and educational institutions.
    • Serve as a liaison between the Technical College System of Georgia and external stakeholders to advance program goals.
  • Career Awareness & Outreach
    • Plan, organize, and lead career awareness events showcasing opportunities in advanced and emerging technologies.
    • Develop strategies to engage students, educators, and employers in workforce development initiatives.
  • Data & Reporting
    • Manage data collection and reporting for grant deliverables.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of outcomes for federal and state reporting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, Public Policy, Engineering or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in grant management and program/project management (federal or large-scale grants preferred).
  • Experience in workforce development, higher education, or technical training programs.
  • Familiarity with advanced and emerging technologies (e.g., semiconductors, nanotechnology, AI, critical minerals).
  • Knowledge of federal grant compliance standards and reporting systems.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organize and lead events that engage multiple audiences.
  • Develop and manage timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare detailed reports and compliance documentation.
  • Strong writing and communication skills for federal reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK CONDITIONS
  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment during standard business hours. Limited remote work may be available in accordance with agency policy and operational needs.
  • Work performance involves light physical duties, including intermittent sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Employees must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds.
