Position Overview

Extraordinary Brands is seeking a highly driven, strategic, and execution-focused Vice President of Development to lead and accelerate franchise growth initiatives across the organization.

This executive leadership role is responsible for driving measurable performance across the full franchise development lifecycle, including franchise sales execution, pipeline optimization, lead conversion strategy, systems scalability, and cross-functional alignment. The Vice President of Development will play a pivotal role in delivering predictable, high-quality growth outcomes while instilling sales discipline and operational rigor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Franchise Development Strategy & Execution
  • Lead and aggressively drive franchise development strategy
  • Optimize pipeline performance, conversion efficiency, and deal velocity
  • Partner with marketing to elevate lead quality and acquisition performance
  • Monitor performance metrics, analytics, and growth forecasting
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective strategies
  • Franchise Sales Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and elevate franchise sales professionals
  • Establish a culture of accountability, urgency, and performance
  • Drive sales discipline, pipeline management, and closing effectiveness
  • Optimize prospect engagement, follow-up strategies, and workflows
  • Implement best practices to maximize revenue outcomes
  • Systems & Process Optimization
  • Design scalable, performance-driven development systems
  • Leverage CRM and Fran Connect to drive visibility and efficiency
  • Build structured workflows supporting predictable growth
  • Enhance reporting, analytics, and decision-making tools
  • Drive consistency and operational excellence across development functions
  • Real Estate, Architecture & Construction Collaboration
  • Align development timelines with sales execution
  • Support site selection and opening acceleration strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to reduce friction and delays
  • Maintain strong understanding of brick-and-mortar development dynamics
  • Support franchisees through development milestones
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive franchise development leadership experience
  • Proven success driving franchise sales and growth performance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of pipeline management and conversion strategy
  • Working knowledge of real estate and development processes
  • Experience with Fran Connect strongly preferred
  • Systems-oriented mindset with strong operational discipline
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • High level of ownership, urgency, and accountability
