Job SummaryWe are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Director to join our State IDR leadership team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong record of leadership, strategic foresight, and the ability to deliver transformative results. As Director, you will provide direction and oversight across multiple functions, lead high-impact initiatives, and ensure organizational alignment with long-term business objectives. You will be accountable for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and shaping strategies that contribute to the sustained growth and success of the organization.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight across multiple teams and functions to achieve organizational goals and long-term business objectives.
- Develop, and refine State IDR strategies that drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Establish and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize performance across the department.
- Cultivate a high-performing and collaborative culture that supports innovation, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Oversee adherence to company policies, governance standards, and industry regulations, ensuring organizational risk is effectively managed.
- Strategically allocate resources and staffing to maximize organizational efficiency and support priority initiatives.
- Partner with technology teams to build and leverage solutions that streamline operations, enhance scalability, and drive continuous process improvement.
- Mentor, coach, and develop emerging leaders, building strong succession pipelines and supporting professional growth across the department.
- Partner closely with senior leadership to align departmental strategies with enterprise-wide priorities and contribute to key organizational decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals and evolving business needs.
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to inspire, develop, and guide high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proven capability in developing, executing, and operationalizing strategic plans that drive organizational growth and performance.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- In-depth knowledge of the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process, specifically state level IDR preferred.
- Knowledge of the No Surprises Act (NSA) and related regulatory requirements, preferred.
- Solid understanding of business management principles and operational best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating, implementing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI.
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
- 7-10+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Cycle Management or related operational leadership roles.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior managerial or multi-team leadership role, with demonstrated success guiding high-performing teams and driving organizational outcomes.
- Must maintain professional appearance.
- Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis.
This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. This position requires the ability to talk, hear, compare, compute, compile, copy, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate and communicate.
