Pay Rate: $69.00 (W2) or $75.00 (INC)
This role is 100% remote.
HOURS:
MON-FRI 8am – 5pm
We will NOT accept 3rd Party (C2C) Contractors
Responsibilities- Seeking to hire a Sr. IT Project Manager (PM) responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile and hybrid project teams with a focus on achieving business results.
- Project Planning and Management:
Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning and operational readiness for assigned projects. - Project Team Management:
Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, remove roadblocks to their work; leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; mentoring and developing team members; facilitate efficient use of resources across multiple projects and monitor trends to ensure use aligns with strategic goals. - Product Owner Support:
Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and help with an effective system of project governance. - Communication and Documentation:
Keep stakeholders informed, resolve issues, and maintain project documentation utilizing project management tools. - Leadership:
Promote empowerment of the team, ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the project and understands how to motivate members to make a meaningful contribution. - Vendor Management:
Monitor and report on vendor performance metrics. Drive vendors delivery against a specific contract deliverables.
- 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager for medium to large-scale projects
- 7+ years of experience with project or program planning, resource planning, work plan development, and project management processes
- Experience working with Agile or Waterfall Methodologies and processes at enterprise level of an organization
- Used Project Management tools:
Jira/Confluence, Workfront, , MS Project, Visio and MS Office - Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting at all levels including the executive level
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Preferred Qualifications- PMP certification
- Experience working within the public sector, specifically health and human services agencies
- Organizational change management experience
- EPO/PPO Medical Plans
- HMO/PPO Dental programs
