Northwest Housing Alternatives (NHA) is seeking to hire a mission-oriented Director of Asset Management to lead and manage the overall strategy and stewardship of NHA’s affordable housing portfolio and facilities located in urban, suburban, and rural communities throughout Oregon. This senior position leads all asset management activities, provides oversight of the Asset Management team currently with a supervisor, senior project manager, and four asset managers.
The team supports a growing portfolio of 45 multi-family rental housing properties, 53 single-family group homes, and two facilities.
The Director of Asset Management leads through collaboration with public and private investors, and property management companies; as well as the NHA leaders of Real Estate Development, Finance and Accounting, Resident Services, and fundraising. The Director reports to the CEO/Executive Director, serves as a member of the senior management team, contributes to the leadership of the organization, serves on stakeholder committees and work groups relevant to policy and program development, and leads contextual discussions with peers from other organizations.

- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, accounting and finance, public administration, urban planning, or a related field required, master’s degree preferred.
- 7–10+ years of affordable housing asset management, or nonprofit real estate, experience required.
