Corporate Safety & Health Manager; remote

• Collaborate with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety road maps and procedures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to assess employee compliance with internal road maps and consensus standards
• Provide technical and administrative support to the organization
• Conduct employee training on applicable safety standards

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field
• At least five (5) years of occupational health and safety experience in a heavy manufacturing environment;
  Metals Industry preferred
• Extensive knowledge of industry applicable consensus standards and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills

• A board certification (CSP, CIH, ASP, FSE, etc.) is preferred
• Knowledge of Aluminum Molten Metal (DC and/or EMC), Horizontal Hydraulic Extrusion Press Systems, and Combustible Dust
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
