At Lonza, we are looking for a Global Head Source to Pay (S2P) to join our Global Business Services Organization (GBSO). This is a highly visible and impactful role, responsible for shaping and leading Lonza’s end-to-end S2P processes globally — from strategic design to operational excellence. You will drive process efficiency, automation, and compliance while leading global teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, IT, and Operations.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned shared services leader with deep process knowledge, strong people leadership, and a passion for continuous improvement to make a lasting impact across Lonza’s global finance transformation journey.

For this role you can be based onsite or remote with the expectation to be in Manchester at least twice per month.

• Define the global vision and roadmap for the Source to Pay (S2P) process, ensuring alignment with Lonza’s global finance and procurement strategy
• Serve as Global Process Owner, accountable for S2P performance, process design, and compliance with internal controls (ICS)
• Lead change management and digital transformation initiatives, including the S/4
  
  HANA implementation
• Oversee Accounts Payable operations (approx. 60 FTEs across Manchester and Costa Rica), ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant service delivery
• Drive standardization and efficiency improvements through automation tools
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness, quality, and cost
• Partner closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, IT, and Tax to align objectives and deliver end-to-end process improvements
• Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or MBA) preferred
• Proven experience in global finance operations, controlling or shared services leadership roles
• Relevant Big 4 consulting firm experience is considered a plus.
• Proven expertise in SAP (preferably S/4
  
  HANA) and related financial ERP systems
• Strong track record in process design, transformation, and automation within a multinational environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to lead global teams, drive change, and deliver measurable performance improvements
