IT Project Manager

Remote position, but must be a resident of Wisconsin. Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite in Madison if required.

We are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating the development, management, and implementation of high-profile projects. Overseeing and

tracking monthly program progress, managing day-to-day activities, and working with internal and external stakeholders.

This position requires an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as having an ability to work with minimal direction and oversight. An individual in this role must have a strong background in project management, including experience in running business area projects. The ability to think critically and problem solve are essential

responsibilities:

• Project management functions across all assigned projects, including oversight of workplans, timelines, and evaluation efforts.
• External & internal stakeholder engagement - communicate project status to Department Management Teams, work groups, providers, and advocacy organizations.
• Develop automated tools to streamline internal processes and make project development and execution efforts more efficient

qualifications:

• 11+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience developing Project Artifacts (plan, charter, status reports, etc.)
• Strong Communication Skills
• Experience preparing Executive Briefings and Written Reports
• MS Project or equivalent
