We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex strategic initiatives that drive enterprise transformation and achieve business objectives. As a key member within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), you will oversee complex, cross-functional, and high-impact projects that align with organizational and strategic goals.

Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager applies their advanced knowledge and experience in managing programs, large and complex projects, internal and external partners, and cross-functional project teams. This role is accountable for delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while managing risks, resources, stakeholder expectations, and ensuring quality standards are met. The Senior Project Manager serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing guidance on project planning, execution, and governance.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and implementation of large, multi-year, complex, high risk projects. Ensuring adherence to waterfall, agile, and hybrid project management standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with various business units and technology leaders, cross-functional teams, project team members, and external parties to ensure projects are well defined, planned, and delivered.
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal processes and methodology, including coaching and mentorship on Project Management and project delivery.
  • Work closely with a project’s sponsors and delivery leaders to develop the project charter, including defining the project scope, objectives, approach, measures of success, stakeholder engagement, and communication plan.
  • Develop integrated project plans and dependency maps demonstrating strong financial and project acumen (including cost estimates, budget, and resourcing requirements), apply appropriate estimation models, and refine and manage performance against them, customizing planning methods to suit the project.
  • Manage project budgets and costs as well as providing estimates and forecasts, including competent analysis of capitalization, amortization, and expense management.
  • Perform risk planning and analysis (qualitative & quantitative), including risk identification, risk response planning, and engaging with governance stakeholders to ensure compliance of products towards the corporate risk profile, standards, and organizational governance processes.
  • Seek opportunities to improve personal, team, and organizational efficiency.
  • Qualifications:

    To be considered for this role, we’d like you to have…

  • 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Project Management Certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software. (JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work for multiple projects.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and committees with diverse audiences (from technical teams to VPs) and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience with Waterfall, Agile, Scrum and / or Product Management.
