We’re looking for a dynamic and committed Community Investment Manager to lead the design, development and delivery of impactful programmes that improve the lives of our customers and strengthen the communities we serve. This is an exciting opportunity to shape community initiatives, collaborate with partners, and ensure our investment creates lasting social value.

More About You

You’re a proactive, people-focused project leader with experience delivering impactful programmes in the charitable, social enterprise or housing sectors. You understand the challenges our customers face and are driven to create positive change. Confident in building partnerships and navigating the VCSE sector, you combine strong organisational skills with an empathetic, community-minded approach.

The role is primarily home based with an expectation you will be in the community up to 3 days a week across North East and Hull, however will support colleagues and business needs in the north.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development and delivery of community investment programmes that improve lives and strengthen communities.
  • Collaborate with partners to shape initiatives and ensure delivery of social value.
  • Engage with customers to understand needs and translate into actionable projects.
  • Monitor progress, manage budgets and report outcomes to stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
  • Proven track record in Programme or Project Management
    , ideally within the charitable, social enterprise or housing sectors
  • Strong understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by our customers
    , with a people-first, empathetic approach
  • Knowledge of the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector
    , including partnership working and funding environments
