Lockheed Martin – Global Sustainment Program Manager

This position drives strategic direction for Global Sustainment and manages a portfolio of software products used in product life‑cycle sustainment. The candidate leads cross‑business unit teams, coordinates software development efforts, and implements innovative solutions that enable business success.

The Program Manager bridges project management and the project team, facilitates the processing of authorization and contractual documents, and contributes as a key member of an integrated project team to evaluate project challenges and develop effective resolutions. You will lead cross‑business unit, cross‑functional, and cross‑business area teams, driving strategic vision and execution to achieve or exceed cost, schedule, technical baselines, and proposal commitments.

• Establish and maintain strategic direction to position Global Sustainment as a leader in aftermarket depot and supply chains.
• Manage a portfolio of software products and coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total systems.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies; recommend corrective actions.
• Interface with internal and external customers; coordinate efforts of multiple software professional teams at site or virtually.
• Lead development of business cases to support data‑driven executive decision‑making and oversee execution to ensure contractual obligations are met on schedule.
• Collaborate with quality, business management, contracts, legal, production operations, delivery operations, global supply chain, customer programs, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of contractual requirements and proposal development.
• Serve as primary point of contact; maintain clear communication with senior leaders and internal senior leadership teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline from an accredited college; or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 15+ years of professional experience or equivalent education.
• Program/Project Management experience and Full Spectrum Leadership competencies.
• Strong technical leadership experience; manage and inspire a diverse team of software engineers.
• Coordinate software development efforts and provide support for internal stakeholders and external contracts.
• Superior presentation and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams, risk and opportunity management, and contracts requirements management.
• U.S. Citizen;
  Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

• Knowledge of aircraft production processes and Squadron Level operational tempo.
• Experience with contracting life‑cycle processes from proposal through delivery (RFP, BOEs, negotiation, DD250).
• Strong business acumen, negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Prior CAM experience and developmental program experience (NRE).
• Experience mitigating Red Program/Sub‑Contract and subcontract management.
• Strong communication skills and presentation skills for senior leadership.

Secret Clearance Level. U.S. Citizen required; ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Full‑time Remote Telework: 4×10‑hour day, 3 days off per week. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

• Annual base salary range varies by location—$111,700 to $196,880 in most major metropolitan areas; $128,400 to $222,640 in California, Massachusetts, and New York.
• Position is incentive plan eligible.
