About the role:
Reporting to a Team Manager, as an Assistant Team Manager you will lead and manage a small team of social workers and create a supportive and collaborative team environment. Assistant Team Managers do not hold a caseload. You will deliver high quality supervision and support social workers in the management of cases ensuring that high quality practice is delivered to safeguard and promote the wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people.
As an Assistant Team Manager, you will ensure assessments, care planning, and interventions are timely, effective, and child‑centred.
What we are looking for in an Assistant Team Manager:
- You will hold a degree in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
