HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Proposal Manager to support proposals for our Corporate Growth Office. In this role, you will be an added member of the continued growth and success of this team. This position will be based out of our Fairfax, VA area. You will be leading proposals and providing support on other projects. You can expect to work on proposals ranging in size from $25M-$250M.

Because of the wide range of sizes, you should be familiar with DoD contract vehicles including but not limited to, DTIC IAC, GSA OASIS (including FEDSIM), Seaport NxG, RS3, and OTA/CSO. You will work closely with a team of other proposal leaders as well as capture and business development. As a team, you are a key component in contributing to the success and helping ensure a high probability of wins.

• Manage proposals, including all aspects of proposal development: pre-proposal planning activities, kick-off meetings, value proposition conveyance, theme development, schedule management, action/issue tracking, proposal structure, compliance oversight, writing instructions and team guidance, review team coordination, and production oversight.
• Develop/maintain proposal management-related artifacts for each opportunity to include kickoff materials, requirements-based master outline and compliance matrix, schedule, annotated outlines, writing instructions and templates, daily stand-up agenda, proposal team contact list, action items, and color team review briefings.
• Review/analyze proposal sections for consistency and clarity, compliance with solicitation requirements, and alignment with proposed solutions and themes, and write/re-write proposal sections as necessary to deliver high-quality, winning proposal products.
• Manage and direct all proposal efforts to include preparation, revision, and submission; establishes and enforce the proposal schedule. Clarify, communicate, and enforce the roles and responsibilities of the proposal team members.
