POSITION TYPE: Full Time – W2 Employee
LOCATION: Remote (May require some travel)
OVERVIEWThe Manager, FCM should have a strong background facilitating the implementation and configuration of financial close management solutions such as Black Line
, Workiva and similar record to report software. They will be a strategic functional leader who will lead the Record-to-Report functions of Financial Systems Consulting such as:
- Record To Report Solutions Management
- Project/Program Management
- Client Management
- Service Quality
- Change Management
The Manager, FCM is responsible for overseeing the implementation and support of best practices in the above consulting areas. They will bring them together with benchmarks from industry to increase efficiency, provide strategic insight, and improve overall customer satisfaction within the Enterprise Applications department. The specific responsibilities of this role may vary, but some of the common tasks and duties include:
- Partner with Sales & Operations Senior Management to identify and deliver digital capabilities that have the highest business impact across the Financial Systems Consulting function.
- Work with various levels within Operations & Quality leadership to align the strategies and lead the process transformation at Sum Theory to be world class within and in support of the Client Management function.
- Be the lead R2R Point of contact for Black Line Enterprise solutions & lead the planning & delivery of Program Management capabilities and services in support of each of the functions' strategy realization.
- Enhance the R2R Solutions Delivery process.
- Act as an Internal Consultant for Client Management strategy development & execution.
- Develop/execute/lead Practice-wide strategic initiatives, including projects to reduce supplier risk, improve service quality, reduce procurement cost, make/buy initiatives etc.
- Accountable for the full Value Stream and expert at understanding how data interacts between various R2R systems.
- 8+ years' of progressively responsible experience leading activities in Client/Supplier Management, Quality, Accounting/Auditing/Financial industry software solutions and related Digital Transformation functional areas.
- 6+ years customer facing experience (internal or external).
- 5+ years Black Line experience.
- Experience with Workiva and other industry leading R2R tools.
- Project and/or change management experience in managing, leading, and implementing financial reconciliation or related systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strategic consultative mindset, with an aptitude for dissecting processes and delivering optimized solutions.
- Demonstrated competency in execution of multiple large projects simultaneously.
- Strong data manipulation and database management skills as well as spreadsheet and analytical skills.
- Strong collaboration, delegation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Provides specialized expertise to identify, evaluate and develop systems and procedures to meet users' needs.
- Strong organizational, client service, and interpersonal skills required to work with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and customer needs.
- Self-motivated, proactive team player with a natural curiosity and passion for learning.
