POWER is seeking an experienced Program Manager - Distribution to lead large‑scale electric utility distribution programs, such as PA LTIIP initiatives, from concept through completion. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining strong collaboration through scheduled onsite engagements.
As a Program Manager, you will serve as the primary client‑facing representative, ensuring project performance aligns with technical, financial, and safety standards while driving innovation and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Project Leadership:
- Lead program management for Distribution initiatives, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality delivery.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, identify risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee all program phases including planning, execution, and close‑out.
- Monitor program performance through variance reporting and effectively manage scope, schedule, and resource changes.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with client leadership to support long‑term infrastructure goals and business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver polished presentations and progress reports to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Mobilize, assign, and guide project teams according to strengths and capabilities.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to enhance team effectiveness.

- Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate weekly project status meetings and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including change orders, variance reports, and financial tracking.
- Partner with leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the distribution utility market.
- Promote innovation through new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance client value and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical/business discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in project or program management within the electric utility industry.
- Proven success managing large‑scale utility programs, such as distribution modernization or LTIIP initiatives.
- Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling tools, and performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to travel periodically to client or project sites for key meetings and reviews.
