This role manages general and premises liability claims from initial investigation through resolution, including interviewing involved parties, assessing exposure, and developing strategic action plans. It coordinates attorneys and service providers to control costs and drive effective outcomes while ensuring compliance with multi-state liability laws. Strong communication, organization, and claims expertise are essential in a fast-paced, high‑stakes environment.

• Conduct interviews with injured customers, store personnel and witnesses within twenty-four hours of receiving reported incident.
• Maintain telephone contact with appropriate parties throughout life of file.
• Evaluate monetary exposure of claim utilizing professional experience and investigative skills.
• Control activities of service providers such as defense attorneys, medical case managers and private investigators to minimize claim expense and maximize results.
• Develop and maintain a proactive strategic plan of action for the life of the file.
• Maintain a working knowledge of general liability laws and statutes for multiple states.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and effective prioritization
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast‑paced environments
• Demonstrated professionalism in handling confrontational or sensitive situations
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Collaborative team player with experience working in cross‑functional environments

• Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three to five years experience required. Extensive insurance claims background with emphasis on premises liability or general liability.

* This is a full-time remote position.

* Compensation: $76,000 base.
