The Airport Facilities Manager oversees the operations of a location(s), under the direction of the Operations Manager to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Airport Facilities Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location(s).
PrincipalJob Duties
- Lead, direct, and develop team of employees at parking location(s).
- Manage, plan, schedule, train and direct the activities of on-site employees.
- Identify high potential employees to support the organization’s continued growth.
- Responsible for payroll processing; ensuring sign off on hours in timely manner; collaborate with the local payroll department to ensure pay data is completed properly; work with Human Resources Business Partner to ensure proper wage and hour compliance.
- Execute the plan for opening newly assigned locations.
- Oversee financial management of assigned locations ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancements.
- Oversee the transition of newly assigned locations from acceptance of contract through opening of location ensuring client satisfaction.
- Develop client relationships and business retention.
- Meet with Director of On-Street twice a week for 2–4 hours total to discuss team performance, disciplinary actions, identify successes, plan for the upcoming week, and review data and trends to inform field decisions.
- Pre-Shift Enforcement Officers scheduled daily to ensure preparedness and clarity of responsibilities.
- Conduct interviews for the On-Street Enforcement Team.
- Work with the recruiter to ensure staffing levels are communicated and gaps are filled.
- Conduct New Hire Training for the On-Street Enforcement Team.
- Conduct Monthly All-Staff Re-Training to be in compliance with Audit Standards.
- Understand and lead within Audit Requirements.
- Use Passport, BI, and LPR Data to track Enforcement Team Performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Meet with Appeals Coordinator weekly to review improperly written citations and related appeals.
- Perform Monthly Inventory Checks of all Enforcement Equipment and coordinate replacements as needed.
- Understand LPR Vehicles and how they are used to track occupancy and maximize field efficiency.
- Lead client projects to improve operation or expand into new areas.
- Collaborate with Enforcement Officers to ensure team success and act as a role model.
- Organize and mentor Assistant Managers and Team Leaders in parking management skills.
- Understand, implement, and deliver all contractual requirements between LAZ Parking and clients.
- Assist the region with operations preparation for potential new locations (rate surveys, ticket pulls, etc.).
- Produce Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual financial and operational reports as required.
- Maximize revenue, manage expenses, and improve customer satisfaction by meeting client expectations and service thresholds.
- Manage, plan, schedule, training, and directing activities of Assistant Managers and Team Leaders, including potential Collective Bargaining Agreements compliance.
- Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives arising from assigned locations.
- Participate in labor contract management if applicable to assigned locations.
- Communicate with local police departments and emergency management teams regarding operations.
