National SVP, Direct Response

Overview

National SVP, Direct Response – Based at the American Heart Association National Center in Dallas, TX; this position can be home-based. The Association is committed to work-life harmonization and offers resources to support professional growth and balance. The role sits in Development and Community Health and reports to senior leadership to drive direct response fundraising efforts in support of cardiovascular health initiatives.

• Develop and implement comprehensive direct response strategies.
• Manage a team of fundraising professionals.
• Drive revenue growth through direct mail, digital marketing, telemarketing, and other direct response channels.
• Provide strategic leadership with a strong background in traditional and online marketing and direct response fundraising.

• Ten (10) years of experience developing marketing plans, consumer response systems, and digital/interactive customer relationships.
• Eight (8) years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in a non-profit environment and fundraising/development.
• Ability to create dynamic and engaging marketing communications.
• Experience developing strategy and multi-faceted interaction with donors.
• Leadership experience in developing and coaching a successful team.
• Experience in marketing software solutions.
• Ability to travel up to 5%-10% local and overnight stay.

• Compensation:
  Competitive base salary with regular market value reviews and adjustments as needed.
