IN A NUTSHELL
This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious new organisation that exists to train, support and mobilise anonymous groups of senior staff from powerful industries who are working for a more just and regenerative world.
You'll be one of the earliest staff members in a dedicated team and will play a key leadership role as we grow. We are looking for a senior professional who is able to lead a scheme of work to help identify and reach out to senior insiders in our new target industry.
Your job will be to build an active community of insiders who engage with our industry movements and can also refer and connect other insiders.
You do not need a background in formal recruitment but experience with identification of candidates and proactive outreach is a must. You need to be able to build a profile of people based on public information and test approaches to engage with them in the ways that make them best understand and feel secure in our approach.
About the role
You’ll lead the interface between potential senior insiders and our team.
We believe that there are thousands of senior professionals across every major company and industry in the UK who care deeply about the world around them as well as the companies they work for.
Your job is to identify them and engage them and help them understand that they can ‘do both’ - be loyal to their firms and industries and drive change in those industries.
You will be the ambassador of Inside Track to a world of professionals with a calling to ‘do more’.
You’ll be a self-starter leading your own strategy in an exciting new organisation.
This role is suited to someone who is comfortable working independently in a fast-evolving context, who combines strategic clarity with strong operational delivery, and who is motivated by the challenge of building something new.
This is a hands-on role. There is no delivery team to delegate to, so comfort with rolling up your sleeves is essential.

What we’re looking forWe expect you will bring 10+ years’ experience in recruitment.
More than your CV, we’re looking for a thoughtful individual who:
- Is confident working in high-trust environments and supporting others to act boldly
- Can work strategically with partners
- Is confident and comfortable making new relationships via Linkedin and other outreach forms
- Brings a clear-eyed view on project management — able to write clearly, distil insight, and keep things on track
- Has a strong sense of purpose, and a belief in the role industry can play in meeting social and environmental challenges
- Emotionally resilient and comfortable working in complex, high-trust environments — including when navigating disagreement, organisational politics, or conflicting perspectives with calm, empathy and clarity
- Is operationally very strong and committed to testing, iterating and codifying processes
- Is committed to the development of others in their team
We are particularly interested in candidates who have had to build things with limited resources and navigate diverse stakeholder dynamics.
- Thrives in building something new and putting systems into a start-up environment where structures are still forming
- Is motivated by long-term systems change rather than short-term outputs
- Wants to work alongside thoughtful, values-driven collaborators and invests in building relationships for the long term
- Understands the value of working with senior professionals in powerful industries
- Is entrepreneurial, kind, and hardworking — someone who takes initiative, follows through, and approaches others with curiosity and respect.
We believe that it’s…
