As a Field Operations Manager
, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing Lead teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring that every Work While worker and Lead has the tools and guidance to succeed onsite.
Location: Goodyear, AZ
You’ll be the on-the-ground leader who provides support for workers, serves as the primary operational point of contact for clients and improves performance - especially during new launches.
This is a frontline leadership role where you’ll coach people, solve problems in real time, build repeatable playbooks to improve site performance and safety standards, and unlock growth. You’ll have a direct impact on service quality, worker experience and customer success metrics. This role oversees operations across client sites in Goodyear, Arizona, with opportunities to travel to other markets as the business grows.
You’ll work on a 4-on / 3-off rotating schedule
, providing consistent, high-touch operational coverage while supporting worker performance, client satisfaction, and workforce readiness.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Own site execution and standards
- Oversee and support all Field Operations at client sites
- Act as the primary escalation and performance lead for key client locations, establishing feedback loops with internal Work While teams and ensuring operational excellence
- Step into shift lead responsibilities when needed to fill coverage gaps, support ramp-ups, or troubleshoot onsite issues
- Monitor client performance metrics and worker satisfaction to drive improvements and deliver results
- Recruit, coach, and onboard new shift leads to ensure consistent standards across teams and locations
- Provide regular feedback, training and performance management to build a high-performing team
- Build repeatable, scalable operational processes that make future launches faster and smoother
- Document on-site playbooks and training checklists
- Capture, escalate, and resolve on-site worker concerns to ensure consistent execution
- Visit all newly launched sites for the client to establish relationships, align expectations, and set a strong foundation for success
- Lead on-the-ground marketing and outreach efforts to grow the local worker base
- Represent Work While at job fairs, community hiring events, and workforce development initiatives
- Build relationships with local community partners, workforce training organizations, and other talent pipelines
- Minimum 1-3 years supervisory experience
- Warehouse or distribution center experience a plus
- Strong coaching and team development skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Open to working weekend hours/some overnight hours.
- Comfortable with periodic local travel to client sites as needed (e.g., 10-20% travel, opportunity for future hybrid/remote work).
