As a Trust Funds Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for directing one of three Retirement Planning & Outreach Sections in providing accurate and timely benefit information and education to Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS) members. You will manage staff workload and workflow to assure quality and effectiveness of operations and services as well as provide direction to staff on the interpretation, application, and implementation of existing and changing laws, rules, and policies governing WRS benefit programs.

Benefit plans administered by the Retirement Planning & Outreach Section include retirement, disability, survivor, and separation benefits, as well as group health, group life, and disability insurance programs. Staff in the Retirement Planning & Outreach Section are responsible for responding to written and telephone inquiries, individual member counseling, and preparing and explaining benefit estimates and other WRS account information to members and other customers.

Services also include developing and delivering mass communications such as public and private presentations, webinars, e-learning, website postings, and more.

This position is in classification Trust Funds Supervisor (pay schedule/range 81-03), with an annual salary of $85,280.00 - $94,993.60, plus excellent benefits

ETF offers hybrid remote/office work. If interested in hybrid remote/office work, this can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. The selected employee(s) must report to ETF’s office on the first day of employment. In addition, the employee is required to report to ETF one to two days per week and on short notice as operational needs require.
