As part of our Water Business Group, you will help shape how communities manage water for generations to come. Your work will directly support public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience—from delivering safe drinking water and treating wastewater responsibly to developing sustainable water supplies and protecting lives and property through flood control. You will collaborate with experts across disciplines to solve complex challenges with bold thinking and technical excellence.

- Direct and coordinate the work of single or multi‑discipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle—from development & initiation to close‑out—for environmental services in Washington State, including environmental and land use alternatives analyses and siting studies, NEPA/SEPA documentation, and federal, state, and local environmental and land use permit applications and acquisition.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of large multi‑discipline projects or medium‑sized projects with high technical complexity, involving a large project staff.
- Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
- Establish and maintain client relations, and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders.
- Coordinate staffing and workload through the entire project life cycle to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort with the team to keep work within the agreed‑to budget and schedule.
- Work with Accounting, Operations, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
- Collaborate with Water Business Group leadership and partners, WA ES&P BCL, and the overall cross‑sector team to elevate practice and project delivery.
- Implement QA/QC procedures.
- Supervise large project staffs and mentor less‑experienced Project Managers.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Will require in‑person participation in the home office on a weekly basis.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- AICP or NAEP CEP certification.
- Proven experience managing environmental review and permitting services for Water Resources, Wastewater, or other Water Business Group‑related projects in the Pacific Northwest.
- Ability to grow into a supervisory role.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 10 years of related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, and project management software.
- Ability to interact with various design teams and possess excellent organizational, project‑management, and communication skills (written and verbal).
