Project Engineer, Operations Manager

Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee lighting projects from our office. This role involves managing client relations, troubleshooting installation issues, and scheduling and dispatching technicians.

• Oversee product delivery to clients.
• Ensure site safety and procedures are followed by the team and conduct training as needed.
• Develop and implement project schedules.
• Review Purchase Orders and Sales logs daily to update schedules for crews.
• Manage material orders and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with General Contractors to update on delivery and work times.
• Conduct daily debriefs of work performed and prepare reports.
• Validate and award subcontractors to perform work.
• Perform Quality Control on project completion.
• Assist in vehicle maintenance programs and GPS tracking.
• Assist with inventory monitoring with the Warehouse Manager.

• Ideally some schooling in construction management or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret site drawings and blueprints.
• 5+ years of installation experience.

This role is based in a professional office environment with a 'work hard, play hard' mentality. The position includes opportunities for remote work at discretion and company outings. You will spend 80% of your time in the office managing crews and projects from there.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Linthicum Heights, MD.

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
