Join to apply for the Divisional Field Manager role at Modern Woodmen of America

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for developing people and driving performance? As a Divisional Field Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy: coaching, mentoring, and inspiring field managers across multiple regions. You’ll lead by example, delivering hands‑on training and strategic guidance to Regional Directors and Managing Partners. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our distribution network and will directly impact the success of our financial representatives and the communities they serve.

If you’re ready to make a difference and grow with a purpose‑driven organization, we’d love to hear from you.

Modern Woodmen of America is one of the nation’s largest fraternal benefit societies, with over $18 billion assets. Fraternals are unique membership organizations that pair the “member‑owned” characteristic of a mutual insurance company with the “social mission” characteristic of a service organization. They unite individuals with common bonds, provide a variety of life insurance and investment products, and form one of the nation’s most effective volunteer networks.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver systems, tools, and training to help field managers grow assigned regions.
  • Provide hands‑on training to Regional Directors and Managing Partners in their local areas or during new territory start‑ups.

  • Offer feedback and coaching to field managers to enhance performance.
  • Travel occasionally to assigned regions for recruiting, training, supervision, and accountability.
  • Screen field management candidates and implement pre‑management development programs for proper selection and preparation.
  • Recommend appointments and terminations of field managers to the Chief Distribution and Marketing Officer.
  • Serve as liaison between Home Office and field, fostering productive relationships and addressing concerns.
  • Be available beyond traditional hours to support field needs.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
What we need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years related work experience; sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass FINRA Series 6, 63, and 26; we provide study time during work hours.
  • FIC, LUTC, CLU, CLF, or other industry credentials preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships across the home office and field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills to engage both virtual and in‑person audiences.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Previous experience with recruiting and onboarding is a plus.
What we offer
  • Pay: Annual salary range $103 000–$114 000, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Work Arrangements: Full‑time, office‑focused, salaried position with limited remote days; approximately 15 % travel, including weekends.
