Marketing Automation Manager (Remote US)
Directive Consulting, a leading B2B performance marketing agency, is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager (aka Senior Manager, Revenue Operations) to help deliver world‑class execution within our Marketing Operations and Revenue Operations practice. The role is remote‑first for U.S. candidates.
AboutThe Role
Internally titled Senior Manager, Revenue Operations, you will work closely with the COO, acting as both a strategic partner and operational leader. You will manage cross‑functional teams, own client relationships, and execute complex projects across Asana, Harvest, CRM/MAP platforms, and multi‑channel revenue workflows.
What You Offer- Managed teams for a minimum of 2‑3 years and at least 5 years in the operations space
- Demonstrated experience managing project workflows and building structured execution plans in Asana or comparable tools
- Strong fluency in Harvest or other time‑tracking tools for project builds, time review, and operational accuracy
- Deep expertise in one or more Rev Ops/Mar Ops platforms (Hub Spot, Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot, etc.)
- Ability to learn rapidly and dive into new tools, platforms, and architectures as needed
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple client relationships as both a primary and secondary point of contact
- Experience conducting audits, reviews, and technical diagnostics related to revenue and marketing operations
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, particularly with Account Strategists/Directors to identify cross‑sell opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence Director‑level stakeholders and clients
- A proactive, detail‑oriented, data‑driven mindset with an ownership mentality
- Manage internal team workflows, performance, and prioritization to ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality expectations
- Build and maintain Asana project plans, workflows, and task assignments
- Conduct Harvest project setups, monitor ongoing time allocation, and perform regular reviews to ensure project accuracy and profitability
- Lead weekly internal and client‑facing leadership syncs, surfacing blockers, risks, and strategic recommendations
- Provide weekly summaries, status updates, and ongoing communication across internal and client stakeholders when necessary
- Own key client relationships as the primary or secondary point of contact, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence
- Lean into client work as needed – supporting reviews, troubleshooting, and direct execution of Rev Ops deliverables
- Support audits across CRM/MAP environments, tracking, lead flow, lifecycle automation, and reporting infrastructure
- Translate technical insights into actionable, business‑focused recommendations delivered through email, Slack, Zoom, and live presentations
- Collaborate closely with Account Strategists/Directors to surface expansion opportunities across Marketing Ops, Rev Ops, Paid Media, and Analytics
- Clients experience greater operational clarity, improved reporting accuracy, and stronger Rev Ops performance – reflected in NPS, retention, and renewals
- Identify cross‑sell opportunities and help expand client accounts through proactive Rev Ops road‑mapping
- Run your book of business efficiently, creating conditions for additional team members to be hired to support the scale you’ve driven
- Mentor emerging team members, sharing playbooks, processes, and best practices to elevate the overall Rev Ops practice
- Effectively audit, scope, and provide guidance on Rev Ops projects and retainers
- Grow client accounts through strategic Rev Ops road‑mapping and cross‑functional collaboration
- Improve data accuracy, cleaner reporting, and better revenue insights – reflected in stronger NPS and retention rates
- Reach a point of scale where additional team members can be hired to support the client load you’ve grown
- Mentor new hires, sharing technical processes and helping build our Rev Ops practice
