JobOverview:
As a Commercial Project Manager at SSC Construction, you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary constraints. You will lead project teams, delegate tasks, and monitor progress to ensure that each project meets our high-quality standards. Your role will involve effective communication with project stakeholders, coordination across departments, and strategic planning to optimize project outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Project Management:
- Manage and coordinate multiple commercial construction projects to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
- Organize and plan project tasks and schedules in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
- Optimize project deliverables, schedules, and budgets to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Communication and
Collaboration:- Communicate project status updates to leadership, project owners, and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Keep project teams focused on achieving project goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership and Delegation:
- Delegate tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise.
- Monitor the progress of assigned tasks and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to enhance productivity and morale.
- Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with proposal teams to develop cost estimates and project plans for new projects.
- Contribute to the development of presentations and reports to communicate project status and progress.
- Travel and Remote Work:
- Be primarily based in the office but be willing to travel, stay overnight, and operate remotely as required by project locations and needs.
- Provide lodging and per diem for travel assignments within the state of Florida, primarily in Central FL.
- Demonstrable experience and skills in problem-solving and project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science, information technology, or related fields preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team leadership abilities.
- Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and experience with cloud-based hosting platforms and version control tools.
