Traveling Assistant Project Manager - Mitigation/Construction/Restoration
Join FIRST ONSITE, LLC as a Traveling Assistant Project Manager to partner with leadership on evaluating, developing, and executing project scopes across multiple construction and restoration initiatives. You will manage proposals, schedules, budgets, and quality control, ensuring safety, compliance, and documentation accuracy.
Key requirements:
- Must be located in TN, KY, WV, OH, IN, MI, IL, MO, IA, WI, MN, NE, SE, or ND.
- 100% traveling with a remote office base.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall project management, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Coordinate with leadership, crews, and subcontractors to execute work, resolve issues, and manage change orders.
- Maintain jobsite documentation, including daily logs, inventories, reports, permits, timesheets, and material records.
- Ensure safety and compliance by conducting daily safety meetings, monitoring site conditions, and reporting accidents.
- Support operational needs, including physical tasks, work order issuance, and billing reviews.
- Provide proactive updates on project progress, budget, gross profit margin, and schedule risks.
- Available 24/7 to support project needs.
Qualifications:
- Relevant leadership experience.
- 2+ years in the restoration/construction industry, with knowledge of water, flood, fire, smoke, mold, asbestos, and rebuild remediation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
