About the role The Senior Vice President of Contracts, Subcontracts, and Procurement is a high-ranking executive responsible for the strategic leadership, vision, and oversight of all acquisition, procurement, and contract management activities across the organization. This role ensures efficient, compliant, and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, while mitigating risk and aligning all strategies with the company’s overarching business objectives. The SVP will lead and mentor a professional team, manage complex negotiations, and foster strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers and vendors.

Pivotal executive leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the company’s contractual agreements, subcontract management, and procurement operations.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement plans that align with the organization’s mission and financial goals. Advise executive and senior leadership on matters impacting solicitation, compliance, and other procurement-related activities.
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from acquisition planning and proposal preparation to negotiation, award, administration, and close-out. Ensure all prime contracts and associated subcontracts are managed promptly and effectively.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, contracts, and procurement processes to ensure business continuity and resilience
- Ensure all procurement and contracting activities adhere to applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, corporate policies, and ethical standards
- Lead the sourcing and evaluation of subcontractors and suppliers, manage vendor relationships, negotiate favourable terms and conditions, and monitor performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust procurement policies, procedures, and systems (e.g., ERP and e-Procurement platforms) to optimize efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
