Senior Director – Americas Sales

Role Overview: As Senior Director of Americas Sales, you will lead commercial growth across the United States and Canada through a regional sales structure, ownership of pricing strategy, and continuous improvement of sales force effectiveness. This fully remote position reports to the Vice President & General Manager – Commercial Americas.
In This Role:- Be a visible and inspirational sales leader throughout the organization, championing the needs of the sales organization and the customer at every level.
- Work with the Regional VP/GM and DMD to define growth targets and construct a growth bridge to meet share‑gain goals yearly.
- Define pricing strategy that achieves profitable share‑gain on a quarterly and yearly basis.
- Identify areas of improvement for sales force effectiveness and drive initiatives to continuously improve the organization.
- Own sales force structure, territory definition, and organization within the region to drive continuous improvement.
- Design and implement a high‑performing sales leadership framework that attracts top talent and ensures effective hiring, training, and success.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Human Resources, Finance, Service, Marketing, Customer Support/Apps) to support growth strategy.
- Master’s degree in science or business and 10+ years of sales management experience with a proven history of sales performance, coaching, and development.
- Experience attracting, developing, and retaining talent through coaching and succession planning.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding annual revenue targets while improving the sales process, forecasting, and building successful teams.
- Ability to develop and apply market insights to create and execute innovative growth strategies.
- Demonstrated success in cross‑functional leadership and execution across boundaries and matrices.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze complex issues, synthesize points, develop action plans, and translate plans into results.
- Travel: 50% of time, including overnight travel within the US and Canada.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable record and valid passport required.
Experience:
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) is preferred.
- Prior experience with Mass Spectrometry, Chromatography, or Capillary Electrophoresis with strong customer focus.
This role is fully remote and eligible for a remote work arrangement. The annual salary range is $200,000 – $235,000, with potential for bonus/incentive pay.
