We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Director of Property Damage Claims to lead our Homeowners, Commercial, and Farm Property Damage teams and Claims Response Center. In this role, you’ll shape strategy, lead talented claims professionals, and ensure we consistently deliver ethical, responsive, personal, and efficient claims service—especially when our members need us most.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives on using data, people leadership, and operational insight to improve outcomes and control loss costs.
Location: Hybrid between Enumclaw, WA, and remote work.
Hiring Range: $164,892 - $182,295*
Salary Range: $164,892 - $204,061

What You’ll Do ‒- Provide strategic leadership for all first-party property damage claims, including catastrophe response.
- Lead and optimize the Claims Response Center (FNOL, CAT response, and administrative support).
- Drive quality through oversight of the Quality Assurance (QA) program.
- Use data and analytics to identify trends, improve performance, and inform executive leadership.
- Manage budgets, workflow, reserving practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Build, coach, and develop high-performing leaders and teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, engagement, and customer-centric service.
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 10+ years of claims experience across property, general liability, or commercial lines.
- 5+ years of claims leadership experience, including catastrophe response operations.
- Strong knowledge of call center operations and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams while driving results.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- A leadership style grounded in empathy, collaboration, and accountability.
