About

The Role

The Regulatory Compliance Team Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the data management system (IDOX). They have direct line management of 3 Regulatory Compliance Officers who provide technical and administrative support to the wider service. The role includes:

  • Responsibility for managing the IDOX system, ensuring integration with other council ICT systems
  • Writing reports to extract information and data for statutory returns, freedom of information enquiries and to help shape the future work of the service
  • Working with the wider service to implement improvements in processes
  • Providing new user and refresher training to Idox users, regularly liaising with users and provision of information (process notes, FAQs etc.). Enabling users to self‑serve to resolve common issues/requirements and assist where more technical input is required
  • Managing a team of officers to provide advice and information to service users and high quality technical support
  • Managing their own caseload in support of the team
