Schedule:
Hybrid flexibility with remote work options; availability for fieldwork, site visits, and client meetings throughout Southern California required.
As a Cultural Resources Project Manager, you will manage cultural resource studies for diverse projects, oversee research, field surveys, artifact analysis, and mitigation monitoring. You’ll collaborate with senior cultural resources staff, coordinate with agencies and Tribal representatives, and prepare technical reports and proposals.
Salary will be based on qualifications and/or experience, with a robust benefits package. Expected starting pay range of $79,000 to $110,000.

Minimum Requirements- Bachelor’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, history, or related field
- 6+ years of archaeological project experience, including CEQA/NEPA/NHPA Section 106 compliance
- 2+ years of experience working for an environmental consulting firm and/or agency
- Experience in the study of Southern California prehistoric and historic archaeology
- Strong research, technical writing, and organizational skills
- Valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record
- Professional experience with Native American coordination/communication
- Registered Professional Archaeologist (or ability and willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of southern California local agency guidelines for CEQA compliance
- Professional experience with agency coordination
- Existing client relationships
- Experience preparing proposals including a scope of work and/or budget
