This role is in-person at the Exeter Science Park and Exeter Innovation Hub with the option for home-working where appropriate.

The starting salary will be from £43,482 on Grade F, depending on qualifications and experience.

This new full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.

The Business Support Manager will join the SET squared Exeter Business Acceleration team, bringing demonstrable experience of supporting the accelerated growth of new or early stage ventures either as part of an accelerator or incubator programme, or as a senior member of a high growth start-up.

• Support member companies of the SET squared Business Accelerator with the development of viable business models through to investable propositions via 1‑1 support, training, workshops and access to expert advice and guidance.
• Focus on supporting the business development and customer acquisition activities of the Accelerator members, helping them develop strategic approaches to building valuable relationships, partnership opportunities and income generation.
• Lead on the development and management of relationships with regional, national and international investors to understand their focus areas and investment preferences to support the growth aspirations of the Accelerator members.
