Join our Communications BureauThis position fosters a collaborative environment while overseeing a segment of the Communications team with a focus on internal services. This position supervises one webmaster, two graphic designers and one internal communications specialist. This position oversees the District’s external and internal websites and collaborates with the webmaster on their maintenance, enhancements, security and processes. They also help write new content for the sites and monitor website analytics.
The supervisor must become knowledgeable on digital accessibility efforts to help achieve a high level of accessibility on the District’s website and in digital materials. The position oversees the design of digital and print materials, reviewing each product to ensure it meets the District’s design and style standards, and they manage the District’s online ordering system for publications. The position also oversees the Internal Communications program and edits and proofreads communications while checking for District and AP Style.
They provide backup support for Internal Communications and emergency notifications to staff. They also oversee the District’s email marketing platform and develop content for several newsletters.

The starting salary range for the Admin/Business Supervisor position reflects the minimum to 64.8% of the compensation. The starting salary will be based on the education and experience of the successful candidate. The District conducts annual performance evaluations that may award applicable pay increases based on positive employee performance.
