The Coordinator, Professional Services Contracts, manages and administers high‑risk and high‑value professional services contracts. The incumbent manages contract‑related risks, manages multiple contracts, as required, and provides regular reports to supervisors and the Client‑Partners. The incumbent manages the contract cost, scope and schedule. In addition, the incumbent monitors submissions and coordinates the review of consultant deliverables to confirm compliance with the contract.
The incumbent also manages the Client‑Partner relationship and consultant performance, documents key communications with consultants and keeps Client‑Partner project managers apprised of contract risks and status.
- Manage multiple contracts and competing priorities, as required
- Provide support to and coordinate work with other service lines (e.g. on pre‑tender reviews)
- Prepare estimates and negotiate costs for additional contract scope
- Ensure consultant deliverables comply with contract requirements (e.g. review invoices, statements of work, deliverables)
- Carry out quality assurance for contract work and write contract performance reviews
- Track and monitor schedule, including all milestone deliverables
- Manage the financial aspects of the contract and payment certification
- Develop and maintain effective relationships within DCC, and with industry, the Client‑Partners and/or stakeholders
- Ensure quality standards are met, in line with corporate and Client‑Partner expectations
- Manage risks associated with contracts
- Review statements of work for problems related to contract management
- Visit construction sites, and coordinate construction‑phase activities and performance with construction coordinators
- Ensure consultant work complies with health and safety, industrial security and environmental requirements
- Other duties as assigned

- Minimum: college diploma in engineering, architecture or related field with five years’ relevant experience, or the equivalent
- Preferred: certification in applicable field (e.g. Project Management Professional, Certified Engineering Technologist)
- Use applicable computer software and operating systems
- Apply project, contract and risk management techniques
- Provides functional direction and advice to employees and to Client‑Partners
- Typical office environment with occasional travel
- Some work may be located on construction sites; incumbent may occasionally be required to wear универсальную safety equipment
