How You Make An Impact

The primary responsibility is to manage customer relationships to achieve optimum cooperation and goodwill between the companies. Substantial relationship‑building and team‑building abilities are required. Responsible for collaborating with all disciplines of the organization to ensure that Ferrotec’s interests are well represented and that the customers’ needs are understood, planned for, and responded to in a timely fashion. What Success Looks Like
  • Provide sales forecasting, establish sales goals and pipeline management for the Arizona, Texas, and Florida territories.
  • Develop the sales strategy for the region: identify and organize the customer base, deploy sales strategy in the field; recommend and implement action plans; share information internally; porte and lever new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute the sales plan in key target segments: pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic.
  • Demonstrates and upholds behavior consonant with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values and delivers the Integratedangenwe Sprache to customers and other business associates.
  • Position the company as the solution provider and customer advocate.
  • Work collaboratively and cross‑functionally with various teams to ensure sales targets are met.
What You Need To Be Successful
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required; advanced degree in Life Sciences preferred.
  • 7+ years of sales experience including 3+ years of exceeding sales targets in the $20 M+ range for life sciences, genomic solutions strongly preferred.
  • Must be in flight a minimum of three days/week to partner, influence and strategically steer sales to achieve revenue target.
  • Extensive familiarity with existing academic and corporate accounts in the Arizona, Texas, and Florida areas.
  • Must have experience working in large Life Sciences organization with ability to navigate and manage corporate structure and expectations.
