Responsibilities
- Work with RAI US offices to develop and write high quality proposals.
- Liaise with RAI RAM BD team and technical units to ensure proposals meet internal standards and are donor compliant.
- Plan and manage effective division of bid leadership across the portfolio and alongside the RAM BD team at capture and live stages of development to ensure appropriate support on all opportunities.
- Collaborate with technical units, program offices, and other colleagues to support conceptualization of winning program and bid designs, including support to building effective partnerships and consortia.
- Provide effective proposal support, ranging from 'light touch' reviews to comprehensive proposal management, confirming responsiveness to and compliance with solicitation documents and with IRC's requirements. Ensure required reviews and approvals are secured prior to submission to donor.
- Provide guidance on donor policies and programmatic interests to ensure project design is responsive and compliant with donor expectations, rules, and regulations.
- Coordinate all aspects of proposal development, including initial assessment of new opportunities and RFP requirements, developing and maintaining detailed proposal calendars with milestone deadlines, monitoring and enforcing adherence to internal deadlines and submission timelines, reviewing multiple drafts of technical narratives, verifying that budgets comply with donor regulations, supporting recruitment of key personnel and consortium partners, coordinating budget development and review processes, organizing proposal team meetings, drafting and proofreading proposal sections, managing document version control, and supporting program office teams in the management and maintenance of IRC's award management system.
- Provide oversight to external consultant writers.

Compensation:
Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
