Retail Regional Manager - Indiana region
Summary: The Retail Regional Manager is responsible for directing the development and execution of the Retail Banking strategy to meet financial goals for a large geographic market’s sales and service delivery channels. Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Operating income, balance sheet growth, checking household growth and cross‑sell for the Retail Area.
- Oversee consumer banking sales and service for up to 175 branches.
- Develop and implement a retail banking strategy to meet the group’s financial and sales goals.
- Manage branch operations, facilities, security, sales, and service of all retail banking functions for both business and consumer customers for all offices in the assigned Retail Area.
- Directly involved in selling efforts to significant clients.
- Act as a resource for District Managers in terms of complex customer or employee issues.
- Ensure all bank policies/procedures and regulatory requirements are adhered to.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of Retail Banking experience in a District Manager or similar role.
- Colleagues hired will need to register for an NMLS.
- Previous experience managing a large geographical territory.
- Strong leadership skills to drive regional branch sales, service, operations and financial performance within the branch and digital channels.
- Advanced proficiency in technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar, demeanor and presentation skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels across the organization and thrive in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
- Problem‑solving skills/ability to handle complex issues.
- Ability to multi‑task and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to develop, influence, inspire and motivate colleagues to increase retention.
