We have an exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity for a Learning & Development Manager in our Learning Delivery team. You’ll be part of the team who are leading a culture that empowers and inspires people to learn and grow.

The role of the Learning & Development Manager plays a key role in supporting our talent strategy pillars of building capability and succession.

What will I be doing as Learning & Development Manager?

  • Delivering face to face and online training workshops to retail and retail support teams
  • Leading, inducting, and developing our Trainers and Learning Partners to deliver high virtual and face to face training / facilitation in line with our team vision and goals.
  • Supporting the delivery and evolution of induction programmes to ensure new starters receive an inspiring induction
  • Ensuring managers have the skills to complete regular catch ups and feedback with their teams to build capability, improve business performance, and grow talent.
  • Evaluating and evolving training delivery to ensure business investment training is delivered to an exceptional standard.
  • Ensuring that training programmes are co-ordinated, designed, maintained, evaluated, and updated as necessary in line with company strategy and adult learning principles.

What you’ll need to bring to the Learning & Development Manager role:

  • An experienced facilitator (minimum of two years’ experience in a training role) delivering leadership training (face to face and online)
  • Expert knowledge in using a Learning Management System to support learning delivery
  • Passionate about people development and learner experience
  • Strong coaching skills
  • A drive to give and receive feedback for personal growth
  • Confident communicator (both verbally and written) with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Team leading experience and / or stakeholder management
  • IT literate, organised, experience of leading projects through to conclusion
  • TAP training delivery certified (or equivalent group training qualification)
  • You’ll be prepared to deliver training one Saturday in six and some evenings up to 8.30pm
