Senior Project Manager - Google Workspace

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the deployment of mid to large client deployments, including multiple work streams such as change management, technical deployment, and daily project management activities for Google Workspace and affiliated partner products. You may also be assigned Google Cloud Platform (GCP) projects as needed.

• Oversee the deployment of multiple mid to large client deployments at a time, including concurrent work streams such as change management, technical deployment, and daily project management activities for Google Workspace and affiliated partner products
• Provide regular reporting on progress to clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure projects are delivered according to scope, budget, and schedule
• Maintain and monitor deployment critical path and communicate issues and risks internally and externally
• Maintain issues, risks, decisions, and change logs and drive resolution for all risks and issues
• Advise clients on best practices and manage continuous stakeholder relationships, especially for follow-on work (FOW)
• Lead baseline estimation efforts and ETCs with Engineers and Change Managers based on scoped work
• Utilize project management applications to build timelines, assign work, track progress, and demonstrate project control with clients
• Document processes and procedures for clients as needed

• Report into the PMO for status, issues, risks, decisions, and change requests
• Manage financial health status and billing details for assigned projects
• Track FOW opportunities
• Collaborate with sales at project start to understand requirements and clarify needs for migrations and executions
• Bring best practices methodologies to the PMO and help implement them
• Contribute to departmental goals, initiatives, and community of practice
• Promote and project our commitment as a customer-focused organization

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 7+ years of industry experience managing IT deployment projects and managing Engineers and Change Management teams
• 3+ years Google Workspace implementation experience
• Strong Google Workspace functional knowledge
• Previous experience in a project management or project lead role within the professional services industry
• 2+ years coaching and advising project team members on Google Workspace implementations
• Experience coordinating with a Change Management team
• Experience managing project activities/teams and applying structured implementation project methodologies and tools
