DescriptionThe DEI&B Manager will develop and implement the organization’s DEI&B initiatives and strategy to maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace. The DEI&B Manager oversees the DEI&B team and will report to Random Acts’ People and Culture Director. As a DEI&B Manager
, you will be part of a vibrant organization that welcomes diverse perspectives, talents, and contributions.
- Researches, develops, recommends, and executes creative strategies to advance the organization’s DEI&B goals.
- Oversees all activities within the DEI&B team.
- Leads DEI&B Specialists in evaluating current practices and policies to determine their impact in achieving Random Acts’ DEI&B goals.
- Collaborates with HR and recruitment in assessing Random Acts’ population in accordance with diversity standards and goals.
- Partners with DEI&B Specialists and the People and Culture Director to design or source training to aid diversity and retention initiatives.
- Provides guidance to the Leadership team and HR & Recruitment in developing policies.
- Stays informed of diversity-related issues and best practices.
- Collaborates with DEI&B Specialists and the People and Culture Director to provide training and policy updates to colleagues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Proven commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, with cultural awareness, sensitivity, and adaptability.
- Extensive experience leading DEI&B related initiatives, including developing and delivering training on diversity and inclusion.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into insights, stories, and visuals for sharing across Random Acts.
- Ability to manage complex issues with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Self-motivated, with sound judgment to achieve results.
- Clear communication, client management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience working in a global organization is a plus.
This role requires remote working. Applicants must have regular and reliable access to the internet, as well as the motivation to dedicate their time to the organization.
