The Project Manager (PM) has responsibility for execution of one or more complex projects related to HIE programs and services and supporting initiatives. Will be the subject matter expert on the application software used by the HIE as it relates to on-boarding process. All activities will be related to establishing HIE services for Contexture participants.
This position is based in Phoenix Arizona;
Denver Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado and requires local residency in one of these base locations. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Understands how to coordinate a project, implement, and test it in order to deliver a product that produces an effective working system.
- Determines appropriate measures, prioritizes, and coordinates these measures for oneself and for project members in order to achieve the project goals.
- Controls all the project's activities and its progress in a result-oriented manner, communicates effectively across project team members, stakeholders, and management to ensure project stays on course.
- Creates project plans with clear milestones and dates that are agreed upon by both parties, monitors, and updates accordingly.
- Produces clear status reports, communicates candidly and tactfully, makes others aware of any issues with the project, escalates projects that are off target, delayed, or have obstacles causing projects to become at risk.
- Provides accurate and timely information regarding tasks, strategies, schedules, plans, and organization structure to stakeholders.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the application software.
- Understands and applies established procedures and policies as well as technical tools and organizational requirements to the project.
- Maintains a working knowledge of industry interoperability standards and direction.
- Stays informed of technological changes and finds the most efficient and effective ways to develop knowledge and new skills needed to undertake new projects.
- Provides management, leadership, and oversight for assigned project to ensure success and compliance with federal grant requirements and state program-based incentives.
- Creates and maintains project related deliverables including, but not limited to, project plans, scope documents, meeting agendas, action items budgets, WBSs, schedules, business and technical requirements, trainings, transitions, communication, support plans, and post go-live project closure documentation.
- Updates ancillary systems to include statuses on accounts and projects, project documents to be uploaded and filed in accordance with PMO Standards i.e., CRM, SharePoint, etc.
- Ensures project scope and project schedules are maintained and up to date in accordance with PMO
- Ensures resource assignments and allocations are maintained, up-to-date, and
- Coordinates dependencies and resource allocations across the enterprise for assigned projects.
